This Privacy Policy explains how StockScreenerApp ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use it. StockScreenerApp is developed by CodeFlashBR. We have designed the app to collect as little data as possible.

Summary

We do not require an account, login, or any personal details to use the app.
We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking software.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising.
The only information processed is the search text you type, which is used solely to return your results.

Information We Process

When you perform a search, the text of your search query is sent from your device to our backend service over a secure (HTTPS) connection. To generate results, that query is forwarded to the following third-party services:

Anthropic (Claude API) — interprets your natural-language query.
Polygon.io — provides stock and company market data.

Your search query is processed only to produce and return your results. We do not link it to your identity, and we do not require or collect identifying information such as your name, email, account, or precise device identifiers in order to provide the search feature.

Note: Your search query is processed to fulfill your request and is not stored by us in a way that identifies you. Once results are returned, the query is not retained against any user profile, because no user profile exists.

Information We Do Not Collect

No names, email addresses, or contact information (unless you choose to email us directly — see below).
No account credentials or passwords.
No location data.
No financial account, banking, brokerage, or payment information.
No advertising identifiers or third-party analytics.

All communication between the app, our backend, and the third-party services described above takes place over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Children's Privacy
